Learn how to sketch owls in this nature art workshop with wildlife artist Jack Hobe! Jack will guide participants through the steps of using a gesture sketching system to capture the owl’s form and gist on paper, and how to adapt this system for drawing the owl in different poses. Jack will also cover pointers for drawing the owl’s face from different angles as well as working with live owls in the field. There will be photos, videos and mounted owls available for practice throughout the program. Participants are required to bring their own pencil and paper as well as a color medium if desired.
