Learn how to draw flying hawks, eagles and falcons in this beginner-friendly workshop taught by wildlife artist Jack Hobe! Raptors are majestic and fierce subjects, and there are lots of useful techniques to capture them while soaring overhead. Jack will share ways to apply a “gesture sketching” framework model for drawing flying raptors through easy-to-follow step-by-step tutorials and practice photos. Participants will also learn tips for portraying the changing wing shapes and how to apply practical wing anatomy to understand what you’re seeing. No art or drawing experience required for this workshop—all skill levels are welcome!
