Nature journaling, defined as observing nature using a notebook and pencil, is a powerful and fun activity that elevates your adventures in nature to an entirely new level.  Learn new ways of looking closely, asking questions and using creative thinking to make your own nature notebook in this interactive workshop taught by a local naturalist and artist Jack Hobe.  Participants will learn the basics of nature journaling as well as trying out new skills on plants, animals and other natural objects.  Participants are welcomed to bring their own personal sketch books and favorite drawing pencils. Drawing paper sheets and pencils will also be provided.  Be sure to dress for the weather!
