Learn how to draw our feathered friends in this workshop taught by naturalist and wildlife illustrator Jack Hobe. Participants will come away from this program with a working knowledge of basic bird anatomy (invaluable for understanding birds’ movement and form) as well as tricks for capturing live, moving birds on the page. Birds can be challenging and feisty subjects to draw, but Jack’s clear instruction and passion for all things birding, sketching and journaling will help attendees to demystify feather patterns, movements, profile and behavior.
