Jack Hobe Nature Art

Ornithology, Wildlife Art, Nature Workshops

I had the amazing opportunity this year to participate in the Cape May Fall Festival as a vendor. The festival, helmed by New Jersey Audubon and Cape May Bird Observatory, ran from October 16 to October 19, featuring many amazing bird walks around Cape May Point led by professional bird walk leaders and tour guides, as well as a keynote speech by artist and author Kenn Kaufmann.

My booth featuring Jack Hobe Nature Art products at the 2025 Cape May Fall Festival.

My Jack Hobe Nature Art booth was part of The Nature Place at Cape May Convention Hall, which included many excellent optics vendors and artisans, as well as live animal shows by a professional falconer. The Nature Place was open to the public for most of the day during the festival.

One of the live animals present for the Nature Nick shows was a beautiful Aplomado Falcon, Inca.

I enjoyed meeting and connecting with so many people who share my passion for nature, including festival attendees, members of the public and fellow vendors. I also had an amazing experience meeting Kevin T. Karlson, well-published photographer and author, who was kind enough to both sign my copy of his book Bird Families of North America as well as visit my booth.

I enjoyed sketching at the Cape May hawkwatch platform the day before the festival. Lots of kestrels and merlins were moving through!

I want to thank all of the festival participants and members of the public who supported me by purchasing my nature art products, as well as the vendors and professionals who showed an interest in my work. If you would like to purchase the products I featured at the festival, you can visit my online shop www.jackhobenatureart.com.
