This past Saturday (October 22), I had a fantastic afternoon selling Jack Hobe Nature Art products as a vendor at The Craftery Market at Mercer Museum. The market’s atmosphere was overall very inviting, and I enjoyed seeing the creativity displayed by the other sellers. It was a pleasure meeting shoppers and fellow small business owners throughout the day as well as educating customers about my art practice and birding.

I was impressed with the amount of interest customers demonstrated not just in birds and birding, but also nature art and journaling as well as good areas to get outside and enjoy nature in Bucks County (click here for a map of parks and natural areas in Bucks). I am inspired to continue to work on bringing awareness of birds and nature journaling to members of the wider public because of the support and interest I received from our customers. Much thanks to all who stopped by the Jack Hobe Nature Art booth, as well as The Craftery founder Jessica Jackson for her hospitality and hard work in putting this market together–the first of many for me, I hope!
